Må man ta ferie hvis man ikke har tjent opp feriepenger?

Last year I did not have a job, so my feriepenger was just a very small amount for this year. Therefore I don't want to take all my holidays this year since I can't really afford to be out of work, let alone to go somewhere. The company won't pay for the days I'm not taking. Can I decide not to take my holiday this year and just simply lose those days? That'd be OK for me. Can the workplace force me to take my remaining holiday days even if I don't want?

One is normally committed to follow the employers instructions concerning holidays as long as these follow the normal holidays.
